The administration of An-Najah National University Hospital has announced that the hospital has obtained Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation for the third consecutive time. This achievement reinforces its position as the first Palestinian academic medical center to secure this global accreditation and maintain it in accordance with the highest standards of quality and patient safety.
The hospital first received JCI accreditation in late 2020, followed by a renewal in 2023. Today, July 16, 2026, it has achieved accreditation for the third consecutive time, underscoring its ongoing commitment to implementing global best practices and enhancing the quality of healthcare services.
This achievement follows a comprehensive evaluation conducted by the Joint Commission International (JCI). The assessment was based on over 1,200 standards covering various operational aspects—including healthcare quality, patient safety, governance and administration, medical education, and scientific research—thereby ensuring the delivery of health services in accordance with the highest international standards.
This milestone aligns with the vision of the Board of Trustees of An-Najah National University Hospital—chaired by H.E. Dr. Rami Hamdallah—which aims to embed a culture of quality and excellence and to continuously elevate the standard of healthcare services.
