The hospital first earned this accreditation at the end of 2020, and it was successfully reaccredited in 2023, reaffirming its ongoing commitment to implementing the highest standards of quality and patient safety. This achievement reflects the hospital's dedication to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare, maintaining an efficient administrative system, advancing student education and training, and supporting scientific research.

It is worth noting that Joint Commission International (JCI) is an independent, impartial, non-profit organization headquartered in the United States. Earning its Gold Seal of Approval® is a globally recognized distinction that signifies excellence in healthcare quality and adherence to international best practices.

This accreditation is part of the hospital's continuous efforts to enhance patient safety and improve the quality of the services it provides. It demonstrates the hospital's full compliance with internationally recognized evaluation standards and reinforces its position as one of Palestine's leading internationally accredited healthcare institutions. It is also the only internationally accredited academic medical center in Palestine.
